THE SUNSET ROOM

Subtitled: "Which Shall Contain All Our Little Allegories". A project focusing on developing my lo-fi and vaporwave style skills a little more. I made two work-in-progress videos where I explain some of the process of making this artwork, which I suggest you watch! I love creating these kind of 'mind palace rooms', SANCTUARY was another of these. Also SUNSET ROOM was heavily inspired and influenced by liminal space images, a genre of media which centers around slightly unsettling scenes, nostalgia and the uncanny (as is much of my art). This piece goes a little farther into the idea of implicit storytelling, or the idea of making up a story from given elements. Blood is thicker than water you know...
