SANCTUARY

SANCTUARY is my self-directed project for my Art (critical and contextual studies) AS-level. I haven't included my artist research, but I have included all the work-in-progress renders I produced along the way. This is the largest project I've ever done, with probably over 100 hours of work having gone into it so far. The main inspiration comes from Mathew Borrett for the negative space theme, and Mike Wilks and Joseph Cornell for the theme of assemblage. The project isn't finished yet, but I'm hoping to finish it very soon.

12. Added vines, more lighting, a sofa, a stepladder, and a noticeboard. Also made the huge migration over to using LuxCoreRender instead of Cycles, which involved rewriting most materials entirely.

15. Improved the stony texture of the walls. Added books, toy trains, a basketball, a rug, an easel, and a lava lamp. Also gave each record casing a unique texture based on photographs I took of real LPs from home.
